Mariela Pokka is a Venezuelan-German-Finnish designer whose life has always been guided by creativity. She designed her first dress at the age of thirteen and soon became the one creating garments for her family and friends. After studying design and completing postgraduate studies in media (television) and a Master of Business Administration in London, she later pursued a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence to integrate advanced digital tools into her creative process. Her inspiration flows from the Arctic nature surrounding her home in Finnish Lapland.
